May 9th, 2010 Breezes

Goodwin Farm breezed today, Sunday, May 9th, 2010. It was unseasonably cold this morning with a VERY strong head wind coming down the lane. Although all the times were very good the head wind definalty added a bit to each time.

We also came back to a quarter mile for each breeze as we had a deep track all week with all the spring rain nothern New York recived.

Saratoga Tiger went in a handily :26 for her quarter. As you can see, she looks like she walks through her work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4JlVBM1D2A

Julie's in a Frenzy and PennyAnnie Cowgirl flew through their work at :25.2 with a very heavy head wind which actually knocked my camera over!

Out Nice Them and Dakota's Pick finished their quarter in :26.1.

Magical Mint, a 3yr old gelding, has been working great over the last few weeks. Niall decided to match him up with the experienced Western Slang and pick up the pace a bit. They both jogged 5/8ths then turned for regular mile gallop finishing with push for the last quarter. Take a look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG-D2CF-2l8
